Nicole Kaminska · Fashion portfolio
In brief
Crafting a digital showcase for the designer’s portfolio. The minimalistic design puts the focus on the artwork and gives the impression of visiting the artist’s studio.
My role
Static PDFs could not show the scale of Nicole Kamińska’s work or present her as a brand. I designed and built a portfolio organised by project phase, with carousels, fullscreen images, and her Yves Klein blue. It works as a lightweight gallery rather than another generic portfolio.
Overview
Until now, she had been sending out static PDFs that didn’t reflect the scale or nuance of her creative process. She needed a digital space that would present her as a brand as well as an artist.
Approach
A minimal, elegant experience centered around her signature Yves Klein blue. The challenge was to showcase her work in a way that felt curated, not overwhelming, while allowing deep dives into each stage of the process.
Outcome
A modular layout structured around phases of her projects (research, materials, trials, final products). A carousel system showing representative visuals, with optional deep scrolls for those who want to explore more. Fullscreen image dialogs for immersive viewing, optimized for mobile. A custom About section that acts as her artist manifesto.
